Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

Our home is a comfortable, bright and airy home near the sea with transport nearby to Brisbane city and the Gold Coast. We have a modern, well equipped kitchen with coffee machine, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a third bedroom used as a TV room plus a family room with single bed. We have recently renovated the ensuite and the main bathroom to walk in showers and bath chair accessable - no bathtub. All necessary laundry facilities and a small backyard to enjoy a drink on the deck. Ducted air conditioning to all rooms, 55 inch LCD LED TV with Netflix. Unlimited download cable NBN internet. Our winter climate is comparable to a European summer with bright blue skies and our summer is very hot and humid but great for water sports.

We are situated in a quite neighbourhood with a 1 kilometre walk to the beach. Our home is 35 minutes from the International airport. Our beach is non surf but is manned by lifesavers in the summer months. There is a lagoon that is very popular for all year swimming. .There are grocery, chemists, alcohol shop and bakery under a 1 kilometre away with bus transport around the Redcliffe peninsular two streets away.We have a good selection of restaurants to meet most peoples tastes along our beach front. There is a train station to take you into the Brisbane CBD where our major museums and art galleries are situated or to the Gold Coast. North Lakes shopping centre 20 minutes drive away which has all the major retailers including Ikea plus the latest in Cinemas and diverse restaurants. You can go Whale watching from here during the winter months or dolphin cruises and snorkeling are available on Moreton Island all year round. Come and enjoy our beautiful mild winter in South East Queensland. Temperatures range from 12 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees in the day with low humidity. Very little rain in our winters with wonderful blue skies.

Apart from the beach and the swimming lagoon, we have a museum, a cultural centre, botanic gardens and many outdoor activities including windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling. We have a walkway that runs 15.2 kilometre around the coast of our peninsular. Close to transport to reach our major museums, galleries and Southbank in the Brisbane CBD.

Wat we graag willen of wat juist niet...

We do like our house to be kept clean and well maintained but we also believe our house is a home so sprawling on the lounge to read a book is also acceptable. We do not allow smoking inside and we have no pets. We would like our garden and plants to be kept watered.
