Seeking long or short exchange in UK, due to Covid, simultaneous or non simultaneous, or house oe pet sit in warm climate during Winter months. I am a retired responsible lady 71 years old, who worked as a secretary and PA. I have had many several super exchanges and wonderful pet sitting experiences, so I am also willing to pet and house sit. I would probably bring a friend with me.
Easy to get here from Gatwick or Heathrow Airports. Whilst here it is easy walking everywhere. No need for a car and excellent bus service from outside the property. Very central. 5 mins walk to Beach. And many walks nearby. Near beach, small shops and countryside for walking.

I had a perfect few days at Andrea's flat in the lovely Isle of Wight in March 2017, when I was fortunate with the weather and it was 30 degrees Celsius! I enjoyed blissful walks along the scenic coastal path which is 15 minutes' walk from the house and leads to Ventnor. It is also a few minutes from the charming high street and round the corner from the railway station. Andrea was kind and helpful and on hand next door in case I had any problems. The bungalow was extremely clean and warm and had everything I needed, including a few useful food items which Andrea had bought for me.

Everything was well prepared. We felt at home immediately. We enjoyed getting around by bus. A car wasn't needed at all. All was reachable in short time. The bus Station is directly in front of the house. The Isle of Wight is really beautiful. Nice beaches, dramatic cliffs and a lovely landscape all around the isle. There are a lot possibilities for hiking, you walk on footpaths away from the streets most of the time (and in most cases well equipped with signs showing the correct direction). We found a BIG pile of Information and insider tips. Andrea made a great job in preparing the flat to make us enjoy our holidays on the Isle of Wight.

We had a wonderful time staying with Andrea and she was really hospitable and came out with us one of the evenings. Our elderly parents had the most brilliant time dancing and said it was the highlight of their holiday. We fell in love with the Isle of Wight and have since been to stay with Andrea again. She was an excellent host and took us out walking and for an Indian meal in Shanklin aswell as for dinner by the sea in Shanklin. We have become friends and have since met in London and look forward to seeing Andrea again very soon.

Ons huis

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

France, Portugal, Spain, Austria, London, UK, USA. Willing to come and PET SIT or HOUSE SIT. I am a responsible mature lady who would probably bring a friend along. The indoor photo's are of the annex. Or i could possibly exchange my own 2 bedroom house as in the picture. And will be including more photo's soon. I don't drive and would prefer destination near an airport.++

Very central Shanklin : Walk everywhere. No car needed. 10 mins to beach. 5 Mins shops, pubs, restaurants. Bus stops outside. Train 5 mins. See the island by bus - easy.
I have a two bedroom house for exchange. Or sometimes a one bed annex next door.

The home has two bedrooms with double bed in one and two singles in the other. There is also my office. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over. Kitchen with all facilities, massive light kitchen with patio and large light lounge and hallway. The property has carpets and central heating and is immaculate.

7 Green Lane:. The property is immaculate and has everything you could need. There is a garden to front and rear and a patio at the rear.

My house is Home from Home. Ideal for walkers, golfers. Walk to Keats Green, Esplanade, Sandown. Bus to Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, Sandown Zoo, The Botanical Gardens, Ventnor to name a few places of interest'. I am open to all exchanges but would like to be near public transport.

I am an experienced exchanger having visited many places and countries in the past. My property can be rented if wished.
My house is very central to beach, town, shops, countryside. All transport nearby, including the train. You don't need a car, walk everywhere. The beach is 10 minutes walk and the so are the shops. Walk back from the pub.
Plenty of beautiful countryside, beaches. Fairly quiet. Interesting antique shops and restaurants. Villages, pubs. Easy transport from
Gatwick, Heathrow or Southampton airports.
You can visit 'The Needles', Alum Bay, Queen Victoria's Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, medieval churches.
Many miles of walking trails.
Shanklin is a small town with a few shops. We have many tourists. Lovely scenery and waterfront. Many bars have music.
7 Green Lane is set in a small road in central Shanklin with friendly neighbours. There is a public swimming pool.
5 mins to outdoor bowls. Again it is very central for everything.

County Show in June. Many carnivals. Much live music and dancing. Lots of small individual shops. Fishing and boat trips. Surfing and sailing of all kinds. Day trip to Portsmouth Historic Dock Yard. Visit the Mary Rose Exhibition at Portsmouth Dockyard. Day trip to Southampton or London, journey can be advised. Day trips to all south coast towns. Many famous people have lived here including Alfred Lord Tennyson, visit gardens and house. Queen Victoria, Osborne House. Photographer Juilia Cameron, visit her house. Sandown Zoo with tigers. Brading Roman Museum.
