WE ALREADY HAVE MADE PLANS FOR EXCHANGE FOR THE SUMMER OF 2020.
Our neighborhood is quiet. You can hike just behind the house- paths and a huge area available for hiking (or biking). The scenery is lovely and the air is fresh. The neighbours are friendly. In the summertime the sun never sets- you can have a glimpse of the midnight sun from one of the bedrooms. Within a few kilometres there are great opportunities for hiking in the mountains.10 minutes by car is the small city of Finnsnes where you'll find everything you need. The island we live on is rated as one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world :-)

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
9 kilometres (or 10 minutes by car) from our home is the little town of Finnsnes. There are several cafes, resraurants and shops.
Senja is a huge island and if you are keen on hiking this is a real eldorado.
There ar egreat beaches ( although the water is usually quite cold, even in the midst of summer)
If you go by car, there are many great places to see in Senja and Midt Troms. The city of Tromsø is approximately 2 1/2 hours drive away.

We do not wear shoes inside the house. We like yo keep our house pretty tidy and clean. No smoking inside. Keep the terracedoor closed ( the one next to the piano, otherwise the piano gets out of tune).
