My daughters and I wanted to spend our birthdays together traveling in Norway and we were lucky enough to meet Hallgeir and Froydis! Their home is warm and cozy with a beautiful yard and nice views overlooking Lillehammer. The location is peaceful while still being convenient to visit many sights and there are an abundance of walking trails leading from their home. Hallgeir and Froydis left food and gifts for us and their parents stopped by to say hello and bring us homemade bread. We loved traveling in Norway, the beautiful mountains and waterfalls and visiting the fjords gave us just the kind of special "girls trip" vacation we were hoping for. The best part of all was making friends with this family and we hope to keep in touch with them and maybe even see them again some day! Amy Davey

we had such a great time- very friendly family and animals, stylish and comfortable home with amazing view over the lake, blueberry woods start right behind the house, easy day trips to Oslo, hiking, rafting, canoeing, moose watching...

We had a great vacation in Lillehammer. We stayed for 14 days and had sun the whole time. The house is situated next to the forrest so very calm and close to nature. It is a perfect family home with lots of love from the two cats and the chickens. We did several nice trips in Lillehammer and the surroundings: - husky tour - horse riding - familypark - bobslee - visiting the museum and sites of the Olympic Games - walking in the forrest - ... Thanks for your hospitality!

We had a fantastic exchange in Lillehammer in 2018. The house was bright, open and very clean. The open grounds around the house made playing outside great. There were bikes to use and walks and views close by. Its an outdoors-oriented place but there is lots to do and the scenery was fantastic. Hallgeir and family made us very welcome and left our house in a pritine state.

Last summer we had great 2 weeks in Lillehammer! Everything was perfect, we loved the really nice and light-flooded house with the big garden from Hallgeir and Froydis, the communication with them was easy, and we really enjoyed their place. In plus we swapped the cars-and this was also really uncomplicated! Overall it was a really favorable house exchange with Hallgeir and Froydis.

We had a wonderful time in Norway and loved the beautiful house and the area. The great contact to the family gave us a good feeling to do the exchange.
