We are both active in the local bowls club. Our working lives in michaels case was insurance and financial planning and Jans was in Banking. We have adult children living in Christchurch

We ,live on the lower slopes of a warm hillside suburb with majestic view of the ocean estuary and mountain range with a vista of 250 k. Very easy access to public transport and walking distance to many restaurants and 5 mins drive to surf beach.
