TAURANGA AND THE BAY OF PLENTY - has beautiful beaches with safe swimming, lots of activities and close to many tourist activities such as the Coromandel Peninsula, the Rotorua thermal area, and the world Hobbit capitol, bush walks, beaches and much much more.
