Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
Our home is a modern 2 level house with a private garden and tall trees. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds and two full modern bathrooms. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are upstairs along with a big office and laundry. There is a large living room, separate dining room and a kitchen/family room with eating area. The kitchen opens onto a large deck where we eat most of our meals in the summer.
Our house and garden are comfortable, attractive and well equipped with modern appliances, including internet access. We also have a gas barbecue.
The garden is very private with several seating areas. We have a carport and driveway for parking.
In 2017 we are looking for an exchange in Nelson, New Zealand in March and Croatia in September..

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
North Vancouver is 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, near the forest and mountains. We are close to the Trans Canada Highway which gives you access to Whistler (1.5 hour drive) and the ferries to Vancouver Island (15 mins drive to the ferry terminal).
It is a residential neighbourhood below Grouse Mountain and close to many walking and hiking trails. It is also close to the water/harbour.

From our house, you can walk to shops and restaurants as well as to lovely hiking trails. It is minutes from Grouse Mountain or Capilano Canyon and local ocean beaches. The bus stops outside the door.
The Vancouver area has many bike trails which can be flat, rolling or for mountain biking.
Vancouver city is very beautiful with lots of parks, walking and biking on te seawalls
