Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

136 sqm modern 4 bed home with private garden in extensive landscaped communal grounds. Sleeps 5 comfortably (1 double, 1 twin, 1 single) plus a double sofa bed in the living room.
Well equipped for children with books, games, Scooters, bicycles etc. Situated in Strawberry Hill, a quiet leafy suburb of London. Train to London 0.3km, Strawberry Hill house 1km, Twickenham stadium 2km, Richmond Park and tube station 3km, Hampton Court Palace 5km, Central London 15km.
Well-equipped kitchen (Nespresso machine), dining room seats 8 and downstairs WC. Living room with patio doors leading into garden with sofas and trampoline. Master bedroom with ensuite Hans Grohe rain shower, large twin bedroom and family bathroom with shower and bath. On the top floor are another two single bedrooms. Beneath the house is a garage housing six bicycles (3 adult, 3 child), washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Driveway for one car.

The house is set in lovely grounds in Strawberry Hill, a lovely village on the river Thames near Twickenham. Five minutes walk from Strawberry Hill Station, with trains taking you into central London, and ten minutes walk from Strawberry Hill House, home of Horace Walpole. We have the green open spaces of Bushy Park and Richmond Park (great for hiking and cycling) nearby, with the Thames offering plenty of opportunities for sports like canoeing and kayaking. In addition, Richmond with its theatre, shops, restaurants and tube station, is only 3km away.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt

We are a 20 minute from Twickenham rugby stadium, which hosts international rugby matches. The river Thames is ten minutes walk away. You can hire rowing boats and kayaks nearby. We are near are two large parks, Richmond Park and Bushy Park, which are fantastic for cycling, walking and deer spotting. Hampton Court Palace, home to King Henry VIII of England, is less than three miles away. Richmond town centre with its lovely theatre, restaurants and shops is a short bus ride away. There is a direct train service from Strawberry Hill station, a five minute walk away, to Central London. Sports wise, there are two golf courses nearby, as well as Hampton Open Air Pool and Sandown Sports and Ski Centre.

We would like someone to water the garden once a day and would prefer the house to be left clean and tidy.We have a pet hamster but if you prefer we can get someone else to take it.
