Nous avons passé du bon temps en famille dans la maison de Katleen et René. Nous avons découvert une famille sympathique avec un chat très calin. Malgré une météo pluvieuse, nous avons sillonné la région grâce aux très bons vélos mis à notre disposition. Nous avons même fait une escapade à Bruxelles (en voiture). Stare a casa di Katlehh e la sua famiglia è stato veramente come stare a casa: tutto molto confortevole e familiare. La zona dove si trova la casa è un angolo di vero Belgio, immerso nel silenzio del verde Limburg! Boschi e biciclette! E poi in treno si può raggiungere tutto il resto facilmente. Katlehh una vera ospite gentile e sempre disponibile, il suo sorriso vi accompagnerà durante tutta la vacanza! Grazie

Wat hebben we terug veel kunnen doen en genieten in Limburg. Voor elke gezinslid was er een fiets en daar hebben we grondig gebruik van gemaakt. ideale ligging om de omgeving met de fiets te verkennen. We zijn met de fiets naar de mijnen in Genk en naar Labiomista geweest. Echte aanrader. We hebben in de buurt lekker gegeven en mooie wandelingen gedaan. Een echte aanrader. The house was super cosy and Billy the cat was a sweetie. Thank you for your super welcoming dinner and attentions all along our week end . We could have stayed a little longer : the area offers a big variety of hikings... and shopping :-) Thank you!

Heel fijn om een tweede keer te mogen ruilen met Katleen, en dan nog tijdens de eindejaarperiode in lock-down 2.0... Het was meer dan een welkome verrassing om in As te verblijven, om de wieg van de Van Eyck gebroeders in Maaseik op te zoeken, om te wandelen in het Heiderbos, om vanuit station Asch de vallei van de Bosbeek te verkennen, om met de jongedames C-Mine in Genk te bezichtigen, om te genieten van ons gezin met leuke gezelschapsspelletjes, om kennis te maken met kitten Billie die ons heel de tijd entertainde. Het was er heerlijk toeven, bedankt!

We hebben genoten van deze heerlijke vakantie. Als we nat thuiskwamen van een wandeling konden we opwarmen bij een gezellig en warm haardvuur en werden we geëntertaind door Billy, jullie speelse jonge kater. Bovenal was het fijn om als gezin dat erg van board games houd samen allerlei nieuwe spelen te ontdekken uit jullie uitgebreide collectie.

Een mooie en gezellig huis midden in een wandel- en fietsbuurt.

Onze eerste ruilervaring was een succes. We voelden ons erg welkom bij Kathleen en haar gezin. Het huis was tip top in orde en er was veel informatie voorhanden over wat er te doen was in de buurt. De omgeving heeft zoveel te bieden: C-mine, Hasselt, prachtig wandelen in Connecterra, fietsen in de Hoge Kempen,....Bij thuiskomst is het heerlijk genieten in de ruime woning of op het overdekte terras in een zeer rustige buurt. It was nice and interesting for us to get to know your homeland.

It was a discovery for us, we did not know the area and it was a pleasant surprise. Because the situation of the house is ideal for those who want to know cities such as Köln, Maastricht, Bruges, Ghent, etc. For me it was also very nice the proximity of the forest, being able to make excursions by bicycle. The house is spacious and comfortable. The deal with the family was very nice and friendly. Thank you Katlleen, continue this way!

Comfortabele woning, ruim terras en tuin. Ideaal gelegen om het Natuurpark Hoge Kempen te verkennen en op een boogscheut van Nederlands Limburg en Duitsland. Lekker en gezellig gegeten in lokaal restaurant. Het was leuk om jullie te ontmoeten. Jullie blijven in onze wishlist!

We hadden een erg aangenaam verblijf in het zonnige Limburg. Jullie huis is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor talrijke bezoeken. We fietsten naar het Blotevoetenpad, naar het speelbos, naar de ijsjesboerderij. Er is in de omgeving enorm veel te beleven, voor jong en oud. Het sprookjesbos in Valkenburg is een echte aanrader voor kinderen tot 10 jaar. Bedankt voor het comfortabele verblijf, voor de gastvrijheid, voor de info vooraf, ... We zijn er zeer hartelijk ontvangen geweest door de gastvrouw zelf, echt een meerwaarde! Een kleine rondleiding en beknopte uitleg over de verwarming in haar eigen huis, zorgde voor een echt thuis-gevoel. De woning is ruim en licht en van alle gemakken voorzien, maar van de tuin en het overdekt terras hebben we niet kunnen genieten. Het huis ligt ook vlakbij het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen, een ideaal uitvalsbasis voor wandelaars en fietsers. As is ook schitterend gelegen om C-mine in Genk, Jenevermuseum in Hasselt, de mergelgrotten in Valkenburg te bezoeken, en dit is nog maar een kleine greep uit het nog groter aanbod uit de streek, dankzij de vele tips en tricks dat voor ons werd achtergelaten. Dank je wel Katleen, dat we met jou hebben mogen ruilen, het was heerlijk! De groetjes uit Gent Benedicte en Kurt (en een high five-poot van Piloe onze kat aan jullie poes Siepie)

We had a fantastic holiday. Your apartment is close to the wooden. We visit a lot of cities because there was a lot of information. The animals was a nice experience for aur children, we had a lot of eggs! We had bikes and scooters to cycle near from here. We could visit Brujas, Amsterdam, a lot of parks and swim in the swimming pool near from the house. The house it was very clean and it was a big house, with a beautiful garden and a friendly cat. there are a lot of toys for the children and the communication between us was great from the start, you have left our house very nice and clean. We enjoyed a great week in Belgium. We arrived to be welcomed by Belgian beers, Belgian chocolates and presents for the children and all the basics for making dinner, very kind and thoughtful. The house had everything you needed, was on a lovely quiet street and very close to a beautiful forest with a great park. We visited Bruges on route and went to Maastricht, Center Parcs and a fantastic adventure park. We particularly liked the outdoor covered terrace at the house where we had dinner when the weather allowed and the children absolutely loved all the toys, games, cat and chickens (who were both very easy to look after). When we arrived back home Tim and Katleen had left our house spotless. Great communication throughout and really lovely family. Would definitely recommend.

We were perfectly fine in the house of Katleen and Tim..It is a comfortable and quiet place very convenient with young children:big bedrooms, with indoorgames, a playground and a cat and chiken to feed. The area is beautiful surrounded by big forests and very pleasant for hiking and cycling. The German and the Dutch borders are very close and it is easy to reach Maastricht and Aaren. We have spent a nice week in your house! Our kids loved your pool and your cat and we enjoyed the terrace and the spacious house. We have done many funny and interresting excursions (Mondo Verde, Kiderstad in Herleen, we visited Maastricht, Aachen, Genk etc.). Our children also enjoyed the nice playground in As and we recommend the bare-foot trail to anyone - very nice experience. We wish you many further successful home-exchanges!!
