We are a couple with a littly baby girl who has two big half brothers. We work as a social worker and a sound artist. Besides that we love spending our time creating things in wood and steel. Most of the furniture in our house as well as the colourful lamp above the dining table is hand made.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
We are happy to invite you in our eco friendly apartment which is part of a co-housing project with 5 other apartments. We share the roof terrace, the orangery and the garden. The apartment has a large private terrace, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The apartment is situated in the north of Brussels and close to train, tram and buses. By train it takes 15 minutes to the city centre, by tram 25 minutes. The airport is 25 minutes by train. We experience this place as a peaceful and calm green oasis close to the vivid and diverse city of Brussels.

We live in a quiet area at 8 km distance from the city centre of Brussels. This area (Haren) used to be the hotspot for the cultivation of chicory, a typical Brussels vegetable. That's why we are now blessed with two train stations at 5 min. walking distance. Here it feels as if the city touches the border of a small village. If you like nature, you can enjoy small walks in the natural park called "Moeraske"(meaning 'little swamp').

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
In the centre of Haren (5 min walking) we have the music club 'Toogenblik' which has the charm of a cosy living room. Here you can drink typical Belgian beers while enjoying all kinds of fine taste music. In the next by neighbourhood Schaarbeek we can also advice a visit to the Trainworld museum which opened in 2015 and is located next to the old and charming trainstation of Schaarbeek.
