We are a family of four who lives in Portland. The children are 13 and 15. We all love to travel the world over and the kids have been to Africa (twice), Asia, South America, and Europe. We love baseball and a highlight last summer was going to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
Our ocean-front home is our family's get-away mini-paradise. The home sits on 4 acres with private path to beach. The front side of the home faces an empty lot with large trees giving the home a very private, secluded feeling. 3 bedrooms. 1 with a king and 2 with queen beds. The 4th bedroom is perfect for kids as it has 3 trundle beds that can sleep 6 kids. 3 full baths. The floor plan is open with a large, modern kitchen open to large living room areas. Large dining table sits 10. There is a large hot tub looking toward the sunset over the ocean. We have never rented the home. Well-maintained with new furniture and furnishing throughout including Bose surround sound system. The kitchen is well stocked for cooks. The attached garage is a rec room with a ping-pong and pool tables. A Traeger grill is available. Wildlife is abundant. Deer, elk, bald eagles, and hawks are frequent visitors. Fine sand beach stretches on for miles; great shells and clam digging. 4mi to Seaside restaurants.

Quiet, gated community, perfect for leisurely bike rides and walks. Nearby park with swings. Deer and elk frequent the neighborhood. The beach is beautiful and stretches on for miles in either direction. From the living room kitchen, and two of the bedrooms, you look out to the stretch of grassy dune leading to the ocean, with Tillamook Head with a lighthouse in view 10 miles away.

Lively Seaside, very popular with kids with an old-school boardwalk is 4 miles away, with many restaurant options. Gearhart is 2 miles away with a great restaurant, brew pub, and golf course. 12 miles north is historic Astoria, with a fantastic river-walk, great restaurants, and a maritime museum. It also hosts a farmers’ market in the summer. Great hiking at nearby state parks. Multiple nearby fishing lakes. Chartered ocean fishing boats 5 miles away. 90-minute drive from Portland. The big attraction is the seemingly endless stretch of beach.
