I am a kindergarten teacher in Blanco and have been teaching for 30 years. My husband is a general contractor and owns his own company. We adopted 3 children-all siblings-in 2010. Our oldest son-just joined the marines. We have 2 teenage daughters, ages 13 and 14. My husband and I have always loved traveling. We wanted to share that love with our children and we go on three or more vacations a year. Because I am a teacher, my times are not as flexible-Christmas, Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and anytime in the summer. We LOVE the beach and warm weather mostly, but we do like snow at Christmas.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
4,300 square feet hill country paradise in the middle of everything! Our house was custom built for a builder and the entire house is handicapped accessible. It has zoned AC in each room. The main house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, with an attached mother-in-law suite with full bathroom-all rooms have Travertine tile and custom cabinets throughout. Our house has a 4 car garage-one of the garages will be available for use. There is a loft upstairs with an additional king bed. We also have a full hook up for motor home and plenty of parking. All on 5 beautiful park like acres at the end of a street.

Our house is in the middle of everything beautiful in the Texas hill country. From our driveway... San Antonio is 35 miles South; New Braunsfels and Schlitterbahn are 32 miles east, Austin is 48 miles north, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Blanco are all within 30 minutes. The water enthusiast can kayak/raft/tube the Blanco River (12 miles), Guadalupe River (4 miles), Comal River (32 miles), San Marcos River (38 miles), Canyon Lake (24 miles) and Lake Travis (45 miles). The water in all of these rivers is crystal clear because it is a white rock bottom. We have a couple of kayaks available for use. There are a lot of breweries nearby and Texas Wine Trail which travels through the Fredericksburg Wineries.
