We had an unforgettable stay in Mary and Bob’s house. A comfortable kitchen and living room and a good bed, and a glass room to relax after a busy day. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but it is only a ten minute walk (over a footbridge) to the bus stop, where buses bring you in about 30 minutes straight to the city centre and to the big museums around Kelvingrove. The museums in Glasgow are among the best we’ve ever seen, and you it is a great walk through parks to get to the Burrell Collection. In fact, we walked a lot (think about the Kelvin Way…). The Battlefield Rest nearby is an Italian restaurant you’re not likely to forget! But our best memories of our stay are Mary and Bob’s helpfulness: they have answered to all our questions!
