Our house is in a small cul de sac away from the main road which means it is quiet and peaceful and the noisiest thing you might hear would be the sound of horses hooves or the clock tower chiming and church bells ringing on Sunday mornings, or perhaps the odd tractor. Within a few minutes walk, there’s the village store and post office, bakery, garage, church, beauty salon and pub which serves food. Three miles away is the nearest town with coffee shops, restaurants, banks, boutiques and charity shops. There’s a shopping mall 15 minutes drive away with two department stores John Lewis and Marks & Spencer and many other shops in between. Plenty of free parking with 7,000 spaces. Cinema and bowling are also located there.
Bristol city centre is 10 miles by car and there’s lots of history to explore there including Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain.
We are three miles from the Severn Bridge Crossing which takes you into Wales, so lots to explore and do there.
