We are retired teachers and both very keen travelers. All our children and grandchildren live in Melbourne so we spend about 6 weeks, in the Spring and/or Autumn there. However our house is usually free during the English summer so we can be flexible for non-simultaneous and longer exchanges.
We are experienced exchangers ; (40+) since the 1980s though when we retired we concentrated more on long trips moving around especially in Asia, walking holidays and city breaks so 2017 was our year for returning to exchanging after a gap. We have much enjoyed getting to know and meeting up with some great exchange partners in the last 3 years and have had several excellent exchanges in Melbourne as well as Dorset, NYC, Florence, San Francisco and Amsterdam.
