This was my first home exchange! Everything was so perfect, the house is beautiful, in a lovely and calm area :) The supermarket and bus station only few minutes by feet from the house and you can easily visit all the city with bus and Uber. I had my first diner with Laura in a very nice typical restaurant where we ate tacos and for a first experience, it was really fantastic! I highly recommand to visit San Diego and if you can, an exchange with Laura will be a top experience :)) Thank you so much Laura!!

Ons huis

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

Spanish style house (1500+ square feet) located in uptown San Diego, which is 1/2 mile from Balboa Park, 5 miles from the beach. and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, open floor plan with 5 patios. Patios updated recently including fire pit. House faces east and on a hill so you can see some spectacular sunrises. Lots of activities not too far away - Balboa park, gaslamp district, North Park breweries, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, theatre, shopping, hiking and all kinds of water sports.

Neighborhood has lots of condos or townhouses, and you can walk to many coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. There is street parking for no charge, although it is very limited. My place does have a 1 car garage. Balboa Park is 7 blocks away with free parking, tons of museums, beautiful Spanish architecture, Spanish art villa, fountain, koi pond, and botanical garden. Sprouts grocery is only 6 blocks away, and Ralphs and Trader Joes are less than a mile away.
