Our daughter is in the medical profession and will occasionally try to join us when we travel. We are looking forward to the home exchange experience we have heard so much about from friends.

When we arrived at the New Orleans home of Leslie and Chuck we were greeted by a huge basket of goodies, food in the fridge, written instructions, a very comfortable and clean house, a peaceful outside patio and Leslie herself who is a charming and very helpful. They have wonderful artwork in every room representing New Orleans which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was right in the middle of the French Quarter and we were able to enjoy everything within the heart of the area. We made the mistake of thinking we only needed to come to New Orleans for 4 nights and 3 days BUT that is NOT enough time. We would strongly recommend at least a week in New Orleans!!! It was a special trade, we loved it and say thank you soooo very much to Leslie and Chuck.

This was a great place to stay in wonderful New Orleans. The accommodation is in the heart of the French Quarter, accessed straight from the street side door down a side passage, but beautifully tucked away and quiet. It was just perfect for what we wanted- full of character and well furnished and equipped with all we needed. Leslie and Chuck were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. We do hope they enjoy their return trip to Southwold as much as we enjoyed N'Awlins!

You can't walk three steps along Magazine Street without coming across a chic restaurant, antique store or enticing boutique. This Lower Garden District spot really is a cultural and shopping epicenter that makes for relaxing afternoon strolls and great gatherings of family and friends.
Our central location makes The Loft the perfect place for exploring New Orleans. It's a 10 min Uber to Tulane or Audubon Park, a 15 min streetcar ride to the French Quarter, and easy access to sites like the renowned National WWII Museum. The Lower Garden District is nestled in between the world-class restaurants of the Warehouse District and the stately, classic New Orleans mansions of the Garden District.

This was a great place to stay in wonderful New Orleans.
