We really felt part of the Bay area community in our two week+ stay at Stuart's. His ample guide enabled us to home in on the best cafes, shops and the local community sports centre where we became a regular fixture at fitness classes. San Francisco is really one of the most beautiful cities in the world and Stuart's is a fine base for it and for the ample nature of northern California which was also a draw for us. Being in a unique house in a forest on the side of the sacred Mount Tamalpais meant that this was an unforgettable holiday.

Thank you for leaving our home so clean and tidy. What a lovely time we had in Mill Valley, Stuart’s house is like living in the tree tops - loads of foliage, loads of space and comfy furnishings with a great deck for outside seating. We throughly enjoyed several of the restaurants recommended both local and further afield. The house is ideally located for numerous day trips, of which we had many. A great tip is to get the ferry to San Francisco from Tiburon - it’s a fab little town with great restaurants, easier and cheaper parking, and beats driving into SF hands down.

The home was nice, clean, quiet and beautiful. The location was amazing. We had a great time in Mill Valley.

Stuart was very kind to meet us and show us thru his home and provide abundant literature about the area and local history.
