Günter and I are a couple for almost 20 years, but our family also comprises our cat Minnie. Günter is a pediatric oncologist and retired since 2011. However every month he is working for a couple of days in Mosow and in the Northern parts of Germany, in Greifswald and Wolgast. I am a medical sociologist and work as a university lecturer in Sachsen-Anhalt, about 1,5 hours distance by car. Thus we are always on the run, organizing our work and trips and everything concerning our house and garden. Besides that Günters great passion, music (conducting, violine and piano), also takes time, at least once a week for orchestra appointments and concerts twice a year. The most stable element is Minnie, the cat, and our garden, which I love to take care of and relax. We live 200 m outside Berlin, which gives us access to all the exciting offerings and cultural attractions of the city and simultaneously we enjoy the beautiful surrounding of he green outskirts of Berlin in Brandenburg.
