WE ARE NOT EXCHANGING IN SUMMER
We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children, a son 2008 and a daughter 2011). We live in a modern one-family home with 3 floors, garden, nature pool, sun deck, in quiet neighbourhood,near Lucerne. Our house has 260m2. There is a master bedroom with en-suite-bath and two children rooms (each child's room has a double bed 140cm). Our region offers several sight-seeing things: mountains, lake and lake cruises, the city of Lucerne (museums, old town, shopping).
In winter, skiing (nearest small very familiar ski resort www.klewenalp.ch, 25 minutes driving) and cross-country skiing (nearest location 20 minutes driving, Eigenthal), in spring/summer/autumn hiking, swimming, biking.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Our neighbourhood is very quiet, with a very nice view on the swiss alps and view on the lake of Lucerne. You can enjoy a sunny day on the lounge with view of the Mount Pilatus. In a few steps you can go to the farm and buy fresh products, or go for a walk in the forest behind the house with a fantastic scenery of the Alps, maybe go for a barbecue.
Lucerne is just next door, you can enjoy a stroll in the old city center, or visit a museum or also enjoy a lake cruise. In one hour by train you'll be in Zürich, Bern (Capital of Switzerland) or Basel. If you want a mediterranean feeling, go for a 2 hours driving in direction south toward Ticino (Locarno, Ascona, Lugano). If you prefer active nature holidays: no problem! In Spring, Summer and Autumn, you'll have many choices: the Rigi, the Mount Pilatus, the Stanserhorn for the most known mountains, with many hikes possiblities. 20 Minutes drive away, and you'll be in the Eigenthal, at the foot of Pilatus, with hiking und barbecue possibilities. In the winter, Klewenalp is the next familiar ski resort with view over the lake of Lucerne (25 minutes driving). If you want a bigger resort, you'll reach Engelberg or Andermatt in 50 minutes driving. For cross-country skiing, you'll reach Eigenthal within 20 minutes driving.
We have E-bikes (up to 45km/h) and mountain bikes you can use.

Wat we graag willen of wat juist niet...
It's important to us, that we'll find the house in the same way of tidyness and cleanliness than you found it when you arrive.
We have a natural wooden floor in the whole house. Especially in the kitchen, we ask to take care of it, avoiding food/oily aliments to fall down.
You're welcome to use our basic food (paper, salt, flour, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar). Should you need something from our drawer, we expect you to replace it if empty.
We have two cats, Flocon and Lucy, who need some attention. In our natural pool with Koi, we have an automatic feeding machine, so no need to feed them.
