Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
Pretty Victorian modernised house in country village with modern green oak music room and bedroom extension. Beautiful warm red winter room with log burner and a double futon, bespoke flag stone floored kitchen with large oil fired range. South facing music room with pianola and library. Laundry and shower room plus drying room are also on the ground floor. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs - 3 doubles, one ensuite and 2 singles plus separate bathroom. There is a large and well planted south facing garden with a vegetable plot and fruit trees. Cats live at this property and are not keen on travel!

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Situated in a small country village 10minutes from the small Cathedral City Of Wells. Wells is famous for its medieval Cathedral and world renowned choir all of whose member are housed in Vicars’ Close- the oldest inhabited medieval Street in Europe. The Cathedral and adjacent Cathedral School host many concerts featuring international musicians. The school’s new Cedars Hall is an award winning concert Hall where international artists perform throughout the year. Wells also contains many buildings of historic interest including The Bishop’s Palace.
The town has a twice weekly farmer’s market selling local produce. There are several awarding winning festaurants from French cuisine to whole foods. Glastonbury tour is visible from the village and we are ten minutes from the festival site. Bristol and Bath are 40 minutes by car. Devon and Dorset are a similar distance and Cornwall 90 minutes. We are also conveniently situated for Bristol airport which is 30 minutes by car.
There are many excellent walks in the area, both on the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills. Wells also has a golf club and leisure centre.

The Cathedral City Of Wells and the larger cities of Bath and Bristol are nearby. Woolley Hole caves and Bircott Riding School. The Sheppey pub on the Levels is a favourite. The world famous gallery of Hauser and Worth in Bruton together with The Chapel restaurant are just 20 minutes drive.
