There is a small local village spread throughout the tea estate on which we live , but our home is totally secluded in 3 acres of grounds. It is a Kilometre to the nearest bus stop, and the last 1/2 Kilometre to our house is rough unmade road, but passable with care in a normal car. The peace and tranquility is astounding as are the glorious views, sunsets, and night skies! It is a haven for birdwatchers, and many animals such as palm squirrels , mongooses, monkeys, porcupines , muntjack deer and even wild boar can be seen from the garden.
