My house is a three bedroom semi-detatched house in the outskirts of Hønefoss. It sleeps 6, with a poosibility of 7 persons (the 7th on an inflatable mattress or the living room sofa. The house was built in 2006 and the kitchen and bathroom renovated in 2016. The town of Hønefoss is situated 2.5 km away, and there's a small forest area straight across the road. There's a separate toilet on the ground floor.
I'm primarily interested in house swap for holiday etc.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Our neighboorhood is in a community of similar housing with a large terrace, and garbage etc is collected every second week. Two grocery shops are 2 km away, and there's a large sports shop and some utility shops a few minutes walk away. Hønefoss is a town with 14000 inhabitants, situated 60 km from Oslo. There's a bus to Oslo every hour (more often during rush hour), and Hønefoss is a good base both for hiking and biking. There are several lakes close by, and the sea is a 35 minute drive from the property.

From our house you can walk to the center of town in 30 minutes. Hønefoss is a very safe town, and one of the largest glass and porcelain producers is situated 20 minutes outside the city center. There are also two inland fiords with fresh water fishing and a lot of boats/beach life during summer. There's a newly built show scene and restaurant/café close to the Hønefoss waterfall in the middle of town, called Gledeshuset. The town takes its name from the waterfall beneath Hønen farm, which was previously very important for the timber industry. There's an outdoor museum dedicated to a part of this story, along with Kistefos museum that has a huge art collection.
