Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

Contemporary 4 bedrooom home with wonderful mountain and lake views across Lake Taupo to the volcanoes of the Central Plateau. The house is two storey and has two double bedrooms, (one 5' and one 6', which can be split into two singles) a sitting room and bathroom with shower on the ground floor. Also a large double garage and laundry. Upstairs is the main sitting room with fabulous lake and mountain views to the front and garden views to the rear. The kitchen is also located on this floor which leads directly outside to a great deck with BBQ. There is also another double bedroom (5' bed) with it own ensuite bathroom, with separate bath and shower.

Our neighbourhood is in the sought after area of town, well established and a mix of old and new properties. It is just 2km from the town centre and has a small shopping parade close by, along with a very popular pub/restaurant which serves great meals. It is a 5 minute walk downhill to the lake front where there is a paved walk extending some 5 miles, along with a beach and natural thermal hot streams. Taupo is a great centre if you enjoy outdoor activities, cycling is extremely well catered for, as is hiking/tramping. It is a popular tourist centre and has all the amenities you would associate with that.

Our home is only a 25 minute stroll along the lakefront into the centre of town. There are also many attractions within a 2 hour range, by car. We are midway between Auckland and Wellington, both of them being easily accessibly by either car or plane.

We have operated a Bed and Breakfast Business from our home for the past 8 years and are set up well for guests. We have our own private bedroom and sitting room and these will be off-limits, however the rest of our house and garden is available and is very spacious and comfortable.
