We are a family of of four. My husband Mike and I are part time teachers. Our daughter is 22 and our son is 19. We love to travel and in 2019 we travelled on our first trip to Europe and the United Kingdom as a family. We look forward to exchanging more in the future as we have just rejoined Homelink after a few years off with family commitments. It will probably be only Mike and I exchanging as the young adults are now doing their own thing.

MEMBERS SINCE 2011. Our house is located in the south west of Christchurch in the hill suburb of Westmorland. We live in a modern home in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood and we have a beautiful view across rural areas of the city to the Southern Alps. At present we are keen to exchange in the school holidays only because we are both part time teachers. We have a cat that would possibly need caring for.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
Christchurch is an attractive city with a variety of things to do. There are museums, an art gallery, a tram in the central city, parks, shopping, beaches on the east of the city and interesting day trips that you can take. Hagley Park is situated in the middle of the city centre and it a beautiful place for walking and looking at the gardens. The museum is close by the park. Riccarton Mall shopping centre and the central city shopping are easily reached by bus from our house in less than an hour. We have a bus stop 5 minutes from our house that will take you into the city. If you like walking or cycling the Port Hills are near our house and the new Christchurch adventure park for mountain biking is close by. We have a wonderful view over towards the alps and the west of the city from our house.
