We have had a great holidays in Holland. Woerden is a peaceful village and is very good located to visit Amsterdam, Utrecht, Gouda, mills, the docks. We have had a very easy and wonderful stay. The village is quiet and the house of Mariette and Jeroen is in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is very beatiful, nice and comfortable, with its garden to spend time reading or relaxing. Free parking is available nearby. The family made us feel at home and have made our stay at their home a great one. To visit the Netherlands, it is a highly recommended option. Thank you very much!

We were warmfully greeted by Doris the cat and felt immediatly at home. The house is spectacular with its mix of old and new architecture and we could make ourselves comfortable thanks to the many niches. It's very well located, there are a lot of shops in the neighborhood. We enjoyed our trip with the bicycles through the green heart of the Netherlands and the good accessibility of Leiden, Utrecht and Amsterdam. The sea is about one hour away with the railway, so we even had a day at the beach. Thank you very much!

Dear Mariette, Jeroen, Julia, Merlijn and Fay, Thanks for letting us stay at your pretty house in Woerden. We had a great time there. The house is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and just at the doorstep is the nice city of Woerden to discover. There are nice shops, and many restaurants. We mainly stayed in the town, as our youngest kids just learned to bike, and they loved to bike at the Kerkplein. We also visited the cheese market on Saturday, which was also a lot of fun, as the kids could pet the rabbits and a cow. We also made a visit to Amsterdam. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely and very original house full of character and creativity. Its beauty and the peaceful atmosphere as well as the warm welcome by the family made us instantly feel at home. Imagine a house that is modern and spacious, yet at the same time historic and cosy. The neighbourhood is delightful: shops, the market place, and restaurants on one side and the canal on the other, ideal for evening walks under old trees. A little lake in cycling distance invites for a swim. We reached Woerden by train and walked from the station. We likewise used the excellent Dutch rail service for excursions to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Gouda, and lovely Leiden or to the gorgeous beach at Katwijk aan Zee.
