We are a family of five new to the home sharing scene. We live in a great part of Vancouver and are keen to see some other gems of the world. Please don't be daunted by us having three teens. Trout Lake in East Vancouver is family-friendly. There is a farmer's market down the road every Saturday, and we live right across from a large park with biking, a skating rink, community centre, tennis, and several playgrounds. The lake makes for a great environment. We are close to transit (from our door it would take about 15 minutes to get downtown), shopping, and restaurants. We love living here.

From our house, it is about a 7 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, and just beyond that is Vancouver's famous Commercial Drive. Coffee shops and restaurants galore. We would be pleased to point out recommendations. Really for us, the park is our greatest source of pleasure. Our deck looks over Trout Lake, and reading/eating, socializing on our deck has brought a lot of satisfaction over the years we have lived here.
