Cowichan Valley is the hub of foodie culture on Vancouver Island, with a weekly farmer's market and a total of about 60 vineyards and boutique farms. Live outdoor music throughout summer. Hiking trails from your doorstep, bicycling, kayaking, whale watching. Old-growth trees nearby. Craft breweries. We are a five-minute drive from Maple Bay on the Strait of Georgia, next to the Gulf Islands. There are three waterfront pubs/restaurants in close proximity.
The commercial centre of Duncan is 10 minutes away.
The Cowichan Valley is a mecca for recreational opportunities, including hiking, cycling and kayaking, as well as foodie culture, with its Saturday market, boutique farms, and wineries. There are also numerous outdoor, live-music events throughout summer.
