The Burren is a unique landscape, home to rare alpine plants, delicate wonders that grow in the thin soil and crevices - gentians, mountain avens and maidenhair ferns amongst others. Those interested in the ancient history of Ireland will find a wealth of material here. Co. Clare is renowned for traditional Irish music and dance.
Our house is situated a three minute walk from the beach. From there, it is possible to take a magnificent two mile walk along the shore

Those interested in the ancient history of Ireland will find a wealth of material here. Co. Clare is renouned for traditional Irish music and dance.
Our house is situated a three minute walk from the beach. From there, it is possible to take a magnificent two mile walk along the shore of The Atlantic Ocean. A ten minute walk will take one to the local pub/fish restaurant. Other attractions, in the area, are The Allwee caves and The Burren Perfumery and it is possible to take a boat or 'plane to The Aran Islands. The lively, university City of Galway is a 45 minute drive away and a one hour drive will take you to the, very old quaint, town of Ennis with it's narrow streets.
