Galway has been named "the friendliest city in the world" by Conde Nast magazine. It lies at the mid point of the Wild Atlantic Way. Our house is perfectly located for exploring either Galway city or the surrounding area. It is located approximately 5 minutes from the seafront at Salthill and 10 minutes from Galway City Centre. Yet you are also less than 20 minutes from the wild, mystical beauty of Connemara. Clifden, Westport, Bunratty Castle or the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and Burren are fabulous day trips within easy reach. Galway itself is a vibrant, cultural town which is host to an international Arts Festival each July and of course the famous Galway Races. It has a wealth of cafes, restaurants and bars to choose from.
