Connemara and Dingle can also be reached on day trips thanks to the long evenings.
The house was converted from a thatched cottage to a slate two story in the 1800's and many renovations later (ongoing) we merge the old with the new. We have 2 double bedrooms, one upstairs the other below, a large bathroom and kitchen on one side of the house but also another small bathroom with toilet and hand basin near bedrooms.The house is beside the small cottage 'Druid cottage'which is available to rent all year.
Parking is in front of house with private garden at the back. The house is heated by a solid fuel wood burning stove with logs provided. Solar panels heat the water with electric back up. Information brochures, leaflets, maps and books are in the kitchen
