Het was een heerlijke zomervakantie-ruil in Tolbert en we zouden deze ruil zo willen herhalen! Fijne rustige, landelijke omgeving en genoeg leuke uitjes in de omgeving. We vonden het erg leuk om vanuit hier het noorden van Nederland te verkennen, waar we nog nooit waren geweest. Huis en tuin waren heel ruim, licht en schoon; alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Het was voor ons de eerste ruil met een gezin met kinderen en onze eigen kinderen gingen helemaal uit hun dak van al het speelgoed en de gezellige kinderkamers. Wanneer we het hebben over 'op vakantie gaan', zegt ons peuterzoontje meteen 'Tolbert' :) This was a lovely home swap in Tolbert in the summer, we would nog hesitate to swap again! We enjoyed exploring the northern part of the Netherlands. The house & garden are big, light and clean; everything you need is there. It was our first home swap with a family with young children and our children were so happy and enthousiast about all the toys and the lovely child-bedrooms. When we talk about 'going on holiday', our son of 2 always says 'Tolbert' :)

Thank you, Wim and Meta for a lovely holiday. Your home was the perfect place to unwind and visit the Groningen area. We especially enjoyed cycling to the small villages and tea rooms, thanks for letting us use your bikes. We also were able to visit Amsterdam, The Hague and the Islands very easily. Meta was so good at communicating prior to our visit and it was so nice to meet you, Wim and your adorable daughter, Cato, when we arrived. Thanks for the lovely lunch and for the lovely Dutch treats you left for us at the start and the end of our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend exchanging your home with this lovely family.

We spent wonderful two weeks in a tidy house with tasteful furniture in Tolbert near Groningen. The landscape invited us to make bike trips in the green local area and also make excursions in the wider environment (Groningen, Leeuwarden). Two trips led us to Schiermonnikoog with its breathtaking beauty. To explore the island by bike is a lot of fun. Our swap partners were very friendly. Best regards, Familie Störring from Cologne

Meta and Wim have just recently renovated their home and everything was very nice. We loved their kitchen, it was very easy to prepare meals with a lovely seating area in the diningroom, looking out onto their beautiful backyard. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed our visit immensely!
