We are a creative couple with a grown up family. Tony was a drama and English teacher, I Donna was an interior designer.But, in recent years had a successful bars and restaurant business. We are sociable which is reflected in our home.

Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
A traditional 400 year old stone farm house, and a large barn that is used as an art studio and social space. We have taken 10 years restoring the house ,
keeping all of the original features. The centre of the home is the kitchen, the once bakery for the hamlet, equiped with everything a serious chef would need, we relax with a pot of tea or a glass of wine in front of the log burning stove . Here there is a range cooker and a central table seating 8. There is a large dining room seating 14 people comfortably with coffee machine and views to the garden. A second small family room with music, books and board games. Our large comfortable lounge with sofas and arm chairs, a log stove, piano, tv, Dvd and computer.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, shower/ wc on the ground floor. On the upper floor we have a large room sleeping 6 people with its own shower / wc. 2 other double rooms and a large room sleeping 4. Large family bathroom with shower. All in beamed rooms and decorated keeping a lot of the charm of an old house.
Cots, high chair, games and books are available.
We are unable to exchange in July and August.

We are in central France, 2 km away from local village with all amenities. Very quiet rural location, ideal for relaxation, maybe fishing, cycling, walking, painting. Close to many wine growers and good restaurants. Within a drive to the mountains, lakes and the finest cheese producers in central France, museums, cultural places of interest and more..

We are 2 km from a small village which has all amenities. Within a 15 minute drive there are restaurants is different villages. Within 20 minute drive 2 large towns with bars, cafes, museums, rivers with canoing or fishing, (lakes close by).
Vichy 35 minutes away, Le Pal theme park 35 minutes drive, Puy dome 45 minutes drive with the mountains, cheese region, walks and so on
