Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
We propose for exchange a comfortable & very quiet flat, with garden and surrounding trees, in Lyon 5th arrondissement.
Lyon is the second city of France, and the old town, looking like a Renaissance City, is part of the UNESCO heritage - Our home is 10mn walk away from food stores and convenience, 20 mn away by public transport from the Old Lyon Historical center and the Presqu'Ile shopping area/Bellecour square. 10 min by car from the magnificient Fourvière Basilica. 15 min by bus from the Perrache train station and half an hour drive away from the famous michelin starred restaurant of Paul Bocuse.
The city is crossed by two rivers, is full of museums and nice places to visit, and proposes plenty of small and great restaurants (including Paul Bocuse's 3 michelin star- restaurant on the outskirts)

Our 3 bedroom flat can welcome comfortably 4 to 6 persons ; one parent room with double bed, one kid room with high bed (Julie's) and one teen ager room with single bed + one foldable couch/bed in the living room for one or two persons. The garden is great in spring and summer, in the fenced space or the outside lawn (for which we have exclusive use)
Lyon is also 2hrs by train far from Paris, 2hrs drive from thre Alps closest ski resorts, and 3 hrs drive from Marseille/Mediterranean sea.

We live on the Fourvière hill, 10 min drive away from the City Center of Lyon and the Old Lyon UNESCO treasury. All food stores and convenience trades are 10 min walk away, as well as a running/walking zone in the woods. Our building is located in a quiet, green and closed area called ESPACE DE L'OUEST LYONNAIS and offers the proximity of the city with a country like atmosphere. All kinds of cultural and sport activities can be found within a 20 mn drive perimeter or 30 mn with public transport

Lyon has been elected Europe leading city break and provides loads of activities and pleasures.
Our house is 10 min drive away from the Fourvière Basilica, and 15 min away from old Lyon city Center
It is 20 min away from the Presqu'ile shopping zone and Bellecour square, or the new Confluence shopping mall , or Museum of Confluence. You can drive (or bike) in 20 min to nice hiking spots in the hills, or drive 30 min to the Beaujolais vineyards, or 25 min the Miribel Jonage park with two large lakes and long easy bike routes. Plenty of nice restaurants can be found within 10 min drive and in all the city

Wat we graag willen of wat juist niet...
We are happy to welcome non smoking families of 4 to 6 members, who can take care of our friendly cat if necessary and are careful of keeping a quiet behaviour so has not to disturb our neighbours.
Lively outdoor lunch or dinner are of course totally possible on the terrace and lawns, yet better be more quiet after 11 PM.
