We live in Rebild, a very quite and scenic area in the northern part of Denmark. There is a lot to do for nature lovers in these surroundings with forest, hills, springs, creeks and lakes. The area has some of the best moutain bike routes in Denmark for beginners and experienced riders, many hiking and biking paths, a forest lake for swimming, a forrest play ground, shelters for camping, bikes and canoes for rent etc. The local turist office is located at the entrance of the national park Rebild Bakker, wich is only a five minute walk from our house. In a radius of 400 meters we have a camp site with a small shop, 3 restaurants and a hotel (with fitness facilities) - the hotel is serving a delicius brunch buffet.
2 km away, in the small village of Skørping, there are playgrounds, football fields, two skate pools, a pharmacy, a doctor and a dentist, supermarkets, bike rental and bike shops, a library, a craft shop, a pizzabar and a gourmet burger bar, a small cinema and a train station.
