We are once again a twosome, having enjoyed our time close to home to raise a family. Now it's time to explore the world together. We love to travel to new destinations and come home with memories that sustain us until the next adventure. We absolutely love Scotland and England. This is where both our ancestors are from. We have so many places to see in Great Britain, we would welcome all requests anywhere in these countries. We would also love to see more of Canada, this beautiful country we call home.

The most central location in southwestern Ontario, Guelph is a small city of 124,000 residents. We are in a lovely neighbourhood in the northeast part of Guelph, close to all amenities including walking trails, parks and restaurants. Our home is accessible all on one level if needed, but does have two guest rooms and a fireplace in the full finished basement.
The backyard is set up for family campfires. We have outdoor activities available to use like bocce ball.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Guelph is one hour west of Toronto, just off the main 401 highway. Our neighbourhood is new residences, some detached homes, some townhomes. It's a mixture of older adults like ourselves, and young families with children. There are lots of trails for walking or cycling within our neighbourhood. It's quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy the small sitting room in the sun-filled kitchen in the morning, or binge Netflix in the cozy basement rec room. We have a coffee bar in the basement so it's easy to brew a cup while you're doing a puzzle or playing darts.
Driving around Guelph and Ontario is easy, Lots of parking and room on the roads. If you're not keen on driving into Toronto, the train station is right downtown Guelph, with daily trips into Toronto.

Guelph is one hour west of Toronto, just off the main 401 highway. It's about 90 minutes to the longest fresh water beach in Wasaga Beach. If you've always wanted to see Niagara Falls, it's a scenic 75 minute drive south towards the US border.
Guelph has a lot of Scottish and Irish heritage. The Basilica of Our Lady cathedral is on a hill and majestically overlooks Guelph. Visit https://www.basilicaofourlady.com/
We have so many attractions that are within a 90 minute drive: Canada's Wonderland, Fallsview Casino, CN Tower, St. Jacob's Market, Aberfoyle Antique Market, Mohawk Horse Track or Storybook Gardens in London (Ontario that is). Or just stay in town and enjoy the Mustang Drive-In Theatre, the Stone Road Mall, Grotto Climbing Gym, or Guelph's Game Cafe.
For winter exchanges, we are only 30 minutes away from Chicopee Ski Club or Glen Eden Snow Tubing.

We will treat your home just like our own. We are pleased to offer you our home and trust that you will treat it with respect. We have a house manual to lessen the stress of being in someone else's home. You have access to our 2017 Nissan Qashqai SUV, fully automated and air conditioned. No smoking in the vehicle please.
The house would suit up to 6 adults, however, our vehicle only seats 4 adults comfortably.
