We are retired couple that have good health and enjoy travelling! We have met many new people and visited, many different countries thanks to Homelink. To date we have visited England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and many different States and Provinces for a total of 20 exchanges or more counting hospitality. We love hiking and visiting friends and family! Bridge is another part of life now.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
Our home is north of Owen Sound on the Bruce Peninsula. The Peninsula is a place of diversity. There are sandy beaches for the sun-seekers.150 kms of the best hiking in Ontario for the naturalist. Orchids and other rare flowers for the botanist, shops and galleries for the art lovers, whatever your interest you will find it here.
The Bruce Trail is very popular and well known . One hour drive to visit Sauble Beach to enjoy 11km stretch of white sand, voted #1 beach in Ontario.

Our neighbourhood is quiet and close to nature. We live on a dead end road therefore traffic is never busy. The area is heavily forested with many songbirds and wild flowers.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
One of the favourite activities in our area is hiking on the famous Bruce Trail which stretches from Niagara Falls to Tobermory. The Farmers Market in Lion's Head village is a nice place to visit on Saturday moorning. A day trip to Sauble Beach is well worth your time (the most popular beach in Ontario) Tobermory is also the scuba diving capital of Canada.
