We are a retired couple who enjoy visiting our adult children, their own families and travelling. We hope to do a home exchange when we go to meet our new grandchild in Halifax, due in early November. Our home has flower gardens and overlooks a meandering river that we kayak on seasonally. Harrison Hot Springs is a lovely place for walking with easy scenic trails to take pleasure in; near the lake, through the woods or throughout our village center. We have lived in our home for 18 years and in the area for 33 years. We are looking forward to sharing our home and village with you!

Our house is on a beautiful treed lot located on quiet street minutes from Harrison Lake, within walking distance to our village center. The house has two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There are two queen beds and a double pull-out sofa in my art room. There is space to relax with front and back decks, a cozy music room and a small library. We have a medium-sized yard and a garden. We are ideally located to explore the Fraser Valley and all it has to offer, from Fraser Valley fishing, golfing, ski hills, its rich history, and an abundance of locally grown fresh food.

Our neighbourhood is located in the heart of Harrison Hot Springs. It is a pleasant walk to the village center, where you can stroll along the lakeside waterfront and visit the local shops and restaurants. Beautiful lakeside areas and hiking woodland trails can be reached by walking to in a few minutes or by car in 10 to 30 minutes. Day trips for mountain hiking or on the water exploring the rugged coastlines are all within a 45-60 minutes drive from our home. Day/overnight trips can be made to see Vancouver, parts of the lower mainland of BC and Bellingham, Washington.

It's an easy walk from the house to local parks, woodlands and lakeside waterfront. This area is known for its natural beauty so that is an attraction in itself. We are close to a major city center Chilliwack though we are a quite village with the potential for a lot of rest and relaxation.
