Hetty showed us around the apartment complex before leaving for Tasmania. It was great to be surrounded by lots of personal art. The surrounding area of Hamilton has plenty of easily accessed services with much within easy walking distance. There's an excellent range of restaurants and cafes with friendly staff in all of those we frequented. There is no need to drive into the city as there are plenty of buses to catch and the river cat ferries can be easily accessed when they are running again. A perfect exchange for us. Thank you Hetty.

Could not have wished for a more marvelous location as Hetty's unit has direct access to the Brisbane River. We had the opportunity for our host to show us around the excellent complex and we enjoyed the amenities including swimming pool, bbque, gym, and Hetty's personal bicycles. Overall a delightful stay.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

HAVE DONE 30 EXCHANGES.

Large living and dining areas, 1st floor 2bedrooms/2bathrooms, 158 sq m., in quiet residence, Brett's Wharf, with private tennis court, gym, sauna, barbeque and pool, on Brisbane R, close to Portside & Racecourse Rd shops restaurants. From the gardens, see magnificent views up and down the river & to the city. Bike/ walking paths are along the river that link up all around Brisbane. BCC Bikes can be hired throughout Brisbane.
Portside Cinema, restaurants and shops, are 2 minutes walking away; bus(10 minutes to the city centre). Brisbane river "Citycat" transport -just 3 minutes walking distance away. The Botanical Gardens and Southbank can easily be visited on the Citycat. Lone Pine has Australian creatures, incl. koalas to hold for a photo.
Mount Cootha botanical gardens give a good view of the city.
Catch a train to Cleveland and go on a ferry to see Moreton Bay islands.
Sunshine Coast: surf beaches, Australia Zoo, Flaxton /Montville.

My apartment in "Brett's Wharf" complex with private heated and lap swimming pool, is along the Brisbane river with the "citycat" river transport just outside 2minutes walking. Catch it to city centre and other places. All tourists use it as the trip is so scenic and relaxing-and cheap. The "Dendy"cinema centre/Portside shops/restaurants is 5 minutes walk away.

Apartment is part of "Brett's Wharf", Hamilton, an upmarket part of Brisbane. Brett's Wharf has a tennis court, a heated pool with a barbeque area adjacent, a 25m lap pool also with a barbeque facilities nearby, a gym and a sauna all for private use by residents.
.The "Citycat" river transport is less than 5 minutes walk away. "Portside" boutique shops /restaurants with the Dendy cinema is 5 minutes walk away. Bike riding tracks follow the river's edge. Golf-15minutes drive away. Sunshine and Gold coasts-1hour's drive away-to whit sandy beaches. Botanical gardens-in the city, Mt Cootha and Tanawha native gardens and sculptures. Moreton Bay islands-ferry rides, whale watching, picnics, fishing and camping.
