Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
We live in a comfortable home with a lovely garden 200 metres from one of the Gold Coast's famous beaches. It is a two storey house and most of the living area is upstairs where it is shaded by trees in summer but light and warm in winter.
Upstairs there is a kitchen, living and dining area leading out to a large deck suitable for outside dining. The master bedroom is upstairs with two studies, a bathroom and toilet.
Downstairs there is another large bedroom with a queen size bed and two single beds. There is a large rumpus room/living area here, with a small bathroom/toilet and laundry.
The Gold Coast of Australia is famous for its beaches, but it is also within an hours drive to the hinterland with its rainforest and great hiking trails. Shopping, theme parks, golf courses and the casino are also among its many attractions.
The Gold Coast is one hour by train or car from Brisbane, Queensland's capital city.

Our neighbourhood is fairly quiet. At one end is the beach (about 200 metres) and at the other end (about 200metres) is a fruit shop, a shop which sells Asian groceries, a Post Office, general shop, a chemist and a medical centre.

One of the biggest shopping centres in Australia (Pacific Fair) is about a 15 minute walk. Another one (Oasis Broadbeach) is about 20 minutes. The beach (Mermaid Beach) is at the end of the street.
