We are in our 60s. Sara is a retired high school teacher and Stuart is an ex pro vice chancellor and professor of Linguistics. Stuart is currently a company chairman and higher education consultant. We both enjoy an active life travelling and looking after our grandchildren. Sara enjoys drawing and watercolour painting since retirement and Stuart has written and published several novels.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Our neighbourhood is ten minutes walk from the bustle of Manly village with all its bars, restaurants, shops, buses and the ferry wharf. It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood but only one hundred metres from the sea. There are no bars or pubs in our vicinity but there are local shops and cafes and bus stops to other beaches and the ferry within 2 minutes walk.

From our apartment it is a short walk to the beach where you can walk into Manly in ten minutes. Just around the corner from us is our favourite cafe The Emporium but here are others as well such Ruby Lane. Also Ironbark does great Pizza!

Wat we graag willen of wat juist niet...
We live in a small boutique block that is quiet and mostly owner occupied. The building has been renovated to a high
standard. It is really important that noise is kept to a minimum and that no sand is brought either into the building or our apartment. For your convenience there is an outdoor shower located at the side of the building. We would also appreciate it if shoes could be removed on entering the apartment.
