We are a couple of retired teachers with grown kids and grandkids. Until covid we had completed 13 exchanges, and now, fully vaxxed and boostered we are heading out again. There is a whole world out there waiting for us. Terrell is a keen photographer and blogger (or do they say vlogger these days?). I love to travel and plan trips. It's become a passion. We are open to it all.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
We have a comfortable, cosy 2 bedroom house with a study and one bathroom. There is a nice outdoor seating area for BBQs, (beer garden :) and a good sized back garden. The lounge and main bedroom are airconditioned, and there are 2 ceiling fans, one in the bedroom , and the other over the dining table. For the winter you can enjoy a fireplace combustion heater, with wood supplied, or turn the aircon onto 'heat'.

Our home is in a suburban area on the edge of Adelaide, backing onto Anstey Hill National Park, where there are lots of great walking trails. Within 6 minutes drive or a bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the door) there is a great shopping mall, recently tastefully renovated. (Tea Tree Plaza) where you can also go to the movies. At this location there is an express busway (O'Bahn) into the city, 15 minutes away. We are also within 40 minute drive from the world famous Barossa Valley, with about 50 wonderful wineries to visit, and enjoy free wine tasting. There is also plenty of good shopping nearby, restaurants and pubs. A half hour drive takes you to the pristine Adelaide beaches. A drive in the other direction, immediately gets you in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. You can also take a public bus straight from the Adelaide airport to Tea Tree Plaza interchange, and then switch to another bus which will take you right to our home.

Our home backs onto the lovely Anstey Hill Recreation Park where you can take long walks in nature. Often in the early morning you might see kangaroos and the occasional koala. There are some old ruins you can explore, giving a snapshot of life in the area over 100 years ago. You can also drive to the world famous Barossa Valley wine growing area, and enjoy a day of wine tasting in the 50 or so wineries. The pristine beaches are 40 minutes away, with bicycling trails, great restaurants and beautiful views. We provide a bike carrier which you can use to take the 2 bikes to the coastline.
