We are a newly retired couple with a thirst for travel. We have 3 grown up children with 2 living in Queensland, and one who lives in York UK (so house swaps in York would be awesome!!!). We keep active through our love of bushwalking, golf , beach acitivities and camping trips. We love our home at the beach on the beautiful Sunshine Coast but are looking forward to seeing more of the world.

Our neighbourhood is a quiet residential seaside estate. It is called the Boardwalk Estate as the access to the patrolled beach is via a charming boardwalk (minutes walk from our house) There are grocery stores and cafes/restaurants within walking distance of the estate and also scenic views of Mount Coolum with a number of golf courses close at hand.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
From our house it is a short 3 minute walk to the beach via a boardwalk. Also across the road there is a wonderful licenced cafe/bistro which is great for breakfasts and lunch. Within 5 minutes walk are also more cafes, grocery stores and medical services. Our home is situated on the famous Sunshine Coast with attractions such as the beautiful Noosa (25 mins drive) and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo (35 mins drive) , nearby whale watching in season and also not far from the World Heritage Fraser Island.
Our house is 10 minutes easy drive (taxi/uber) to Sunshine Coast Airport which has direct flights to Sydney/Melbourne/Adelaide and New Zealand.
