We very much enjoyed our swap in this lovely spacious, very modern house on the slopes above Kriens town, which is about three km from the centre of Lucerne. We spoke to Urs and Rita by skype and email and they were always helpful. We enjoyed going up the Pilatus cable car five minutes walk from the house to the first and second stations to walk in the forest. We also enjoyed visiting Lucerne, the lovely walkable city of Bern and the Italian Swiss town of Locarno by the lake, going over the St. Gotthard pass where it was quite cold compared to further down! We had some pleasant days around Lake Lucerne particularly loving Weggis where there is a lido on the lake with a small beach, lots of grass, a cafe, and a quiet swimming pool. We also enjoyed the band at the bandstand there the day we went by boat. The Sonnenberg hill opposite the house also has amazing views. The house was very clean, and had two terraces to relax on including a roof terrace. We also highly recommend this exchange.

A very nice house, very confortable and furnished with a lot of taste and style. The house is functional, very clean and very well equipped. Our reception was very well prepared. Very quiet area in dead end and 300m from the cable car to access the summit of Mount Pilatus Luzern is a very pretty town (the center is 3 km by bike from the house) in the heart of a sumptuous landscape. Several pleasant swimming in the lake nearby. Luzern is very central and allows you to visit the main Swiss cities (Zurich, Bern) less than an hour away. Access also in an hour near very spectacular summits (Eigernordwand, Jungfraujoch, ...) We really enjoyed meeting Rita, Simona and Urs who are very friendly and open minded and have always been clear at all times. We thank them again for their hospitality, their kindness and we highly recommend this exchange.
