- The cozy village of Maratea that maintained its rustic caracteristics.
- The port of Maratea where you can eat the best fish at Za'Mariuccia, one the best known restaurants in the coast looking at the boats with a romantic view.
- The trekking adventures just 30 mins away among the Pollino national Park/Mountain.

Additional information:

Cersuta's beach is called ”ù Nastru”, elected 2nd best beach in Italy two years ago (Legambiente Awards, http://www.adnkronos.com/sostenibilita/risorse/2015/07/31/bue-marino-san-vito-capo-spiaggia-piu-amata-dagli-italiani_hk2K1pGSo9pUqlc8uJAOfN.html). The beach is 300 meters from the house but to reach it you have to make a quite difficult path (even if our daughter of 6 years old always do it without problems).

Tuscanian architect designed Villa Carmelina in late 80's, it was an old house from 1870 totally rebuilt respecting the old architechture.

Beds are big (in 3 of the 5 rooms you have a double one) and the showers arw big and hot in every room.
In Maratea you have some "tourist crowd" just in August...
As far as restaurants are concerned, here also you are quite lucky, because in Cersuta (5mins from home by feet) you have "Da Cesare", one of the best restaurants of the coast (and cheap also!).

- Santa Venere in Fiumicello (7 mins)
- Santo Janni Club in Marina (12 mins)
- Le Pergole, in Fiumicello (7 mins)

- Cantina Ru Ranco (€, mediterranean)
- Il Giardino di Epicuro (€€, local mountain)
