My wife, Elaine, is a primary school teacher and I am a secondary school teacher. We have two children, John Francis (7) and Hannah (4). I am originally from Massachusetts and we look forward to spending time in the summer in New England visiting family.

Ons huis
Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
We live in a large 4 bedroom home. Constructed in 2004, it is modern and simple in style. We have four bedrooms. The children's rooms have a shared bathroom. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. The main bathroom has both a shower and a large bathtub. We also have a well-stocked home gym which visitors are welcome to use. We have a rower, an exercise bike and a weights bench with plenty of weights to choose from! We use the gym for yoga, so we have yoga blocks, straps and mats available for use. We also have four bikes (two adult and two children) available for use throughout your stay. We have a large playroom with LOTS of toys, as well as lots of outdoor equipment - a trampoline, goalposts and outdoor toys.
We live on a cul-de-sac with about ten houses on it. We are a close little community and all our neighbours are very welcoming!

We live in a house in the countryside, located about 5 miles outside the nearest town. The nearest towns (Kilcock and Enfield) both have good transportation links to Dublin by bus and by train. Both towns are located on the Royal Canal, and have beautiful waterside walks as well as cafes, bars and restaurants. We live in what is known as 'Ireland's Ancient East' with great attractions such as the Stone Age monument Newgrange, the Norman Trim Castle, Maynooth Castle, and much more!
Dublin is a great city to explore, but we are also on the main Dublin to Galway road, and Galway is just 90 minutes away!

We are about 10 miles from Trim Castle (Film location for Braveheart), 20 miles from Newgrange (UNESCO World Heritage Site), 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre, 90 minutes from Galway City Centre.
