• Beautiful home and region

  We had a wonderful stay with our two teenagers in the beautiful and comfortable house of Daniela and Patrick in a quiet neighbourhood and nice village. The communication was warm and friendly from the beginning, and we appreciated the pasta meal at arrival. We loved the cat who kept coming to us to be loved and cared for. The lovely green and hilly region has something to offer for everybody: lots of indicated walks in the hills through woods and fields, and around the lake, supping and swimming in the lakes, cycling to Olpe with the available bikes, sightseeing in the city of Keulen, Phantasialand, picturesque villages, … The documentation online provided by the family was a good help. We found our house back home very neat and clean as we left it. Thank you so much, family Hardes, for the great swap experience and holiday!

• Ein schönes Pfingstwochenende

  Wir haben das Pfingstwochenende bei Familie Hardes verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und geräumig und hat den Kindern viele Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten geboten. Drolshagen ist ein gemütlicher kleiner Ort. Von hier aus gelangt man schnell in wunderschöne Natur und zu vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die wir in den wenigen Tagen gar nicht alle wahrnehmen konnten. Ein Highlight war auch unser Tausch-Kater,der uns allen durch seine ruhige , entspannte und zugewandte Art schon morgens viel Freude gemacht hat. Danke für die schönen Tage bei euch!

• Schönes gemütliches Haus, ideal für Familien

  Toller Haustausch, alles hat super geklappt! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, ein wunderschönes mit viel Geschmack eingerichtetes Haus. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten und ein leckeres Abendessen standen bei Ankunft bereit. Aufgrund der Hinweise haben wir ein paar schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Die Kinder haben das viele Spielzeug geliebt! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

• Willkommene Gäste

  Leider konnten wir kurzfristig nicht in einem 1:1 Tausch in das Haus der Familie, so dass die Fünf lediglich unsere Gäste in Hamburg waren. Wir können aber sagen, dass der Kontakt jederzeit sehr freundlich war, alles bestens organisiert wurde und wir unsere Wohnung wieder sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden haben. Ihr wart willkommene Gäste! Beste Grüße aus Hamburg

• Perfect German swap!

  We had an absolutely amazing holiday at Daniela and Patrick's house. Firstly, their communication was first class before, during and even after the swap and we really felt like we got to know them. They were so helpful and friendly and made our stay so straightforward. Their house and garden are ideal; extremely spacious, very homely and equipped with everything that adults or children could need. Our girls adored the time they spent in their pool cooling off from hot summer days. There are great facilities within walking distance including a play park, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and of course, the fabulous ice cream parlour! There is so much to do in the Sauerland area and I'm sure that we only scratched the surface. We enjoyed borrowing the family's car, bikes and paddle board and swimming in the local lakes, taking a boat trip, walking in the woods, a trip to Cologne and its cathedral and chocolate museum, the fantastic Gumbala pool at Gummersbach, the amazing adventure park Panoramapark with its superb views and Phänomenta science centre. We have so many happy memories from our time in Drolshagen and recommend swapping with Daniela and Patrick wholeheartedly. We would happily go back to their wonderful home and area in the future and discover all the things we didn't have time to see!

• Wonderful place to exchange with kids!

  We had our first foreign exchange for a long weekend at Daniela's and Patricks house and we can really recommand it. The house is very clean and bright in a very quiet neighbourhood. Our kids loved the pool and trampoline. The centre is on walking distance (with a very nice icecream restaurant:-) ). The pizzeria Pescara in Olpe is really recommanded with children, nothing was too much for the waiter. We had one day of bad weather, were we discovered the aqua park Aqua Magis, with the coolest water slides ever met:-) We arrived back in our house as we left it. Thank you for the lovely exchange!

• Great house, surroundings, lovely family

  We stayed for a week in the lovely and beautiful house of Patrick and Daniela and their children. The house is spacious, cozy comforable and overall very nice. From the house there are a lot of things to do, first the town of Drolshagen which is nice and has all you need, From drolshagen a lot of nice things can be visited. When we where there the weather was not too nice but we did a few short hikes through the hills and visisited a small zoo, the caves of Atta (Atta Hohle, very impressive). Highlight of the house was of course Quinten the Cat that we also took care of that week ;-). The contact with Patrick and Daniela was very nice and we felt right at home in their house, they left our house tidy and clean. We enjoyed this exchange a lot, reccomended!
