Merveilleux séjour dans la verdure
Nous avons passé une semaine formidable chez Catherine et Nicolas. Leur maison est grande, confortable et entourée de verdure. C'est un lieu très apaisant et nous avons pu manger sur leur terrasse au milieu des fleurs et des oiseaux. Nos hôtes nous avaient préparé un délicieux repas et nous avions un réfrigérateur bien garni pour plusieurs jours. Des cadeaux de spécialités locales et d'excellents chocolats fabriqués à Chavenay nous attendaient et nous nous sommes régalés toute la semaine. Nous avons visité une région très riche en châteaux et, ce n'est pas celui de Versailles, qui nous a semblé le plus intéressant. Nous avons adoré celui de Maintenon, de Rambouillet et d' Anet et révisé l'histoire de France. La vallée de Chevreuse est charmante et nous avons aimé la maison musée de Raymond Devos, à cet endroit, ainsi que celle de jean Monnet. Chavenay est entouré de champs et la ferme expérimentale de Grignon offre des produits frais et une épicerie de grande qualité. La qualité de l'hebergement et la richesse des sites visités ont fait de cet échange une réussite totale. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour la qualité de leur accueil. Hélène et Alain

La casa es muy grande, confortable y con todas las comodidades. Está situada a 4 km de dos estaciones de tren que te llevan al centro de París en 30 min. Nicolás y su esposa son unos perfectos anfitriones, nos mantuvimos siempre en contacto para facilitarnos el intercambio

Wonderful exchange in this spacious and interesting home near Paris. Nicolas and Catherine were very welcoming, great at communicating, and very generous with the food and gifts they left for us. They really did everything they could to make us feel welcome, including borrowing their daughters larger car so that we could all go out together. There was lots to see nearby, Paris and Versailles obviously, but we also loved Giverny, Chateau de monte-Cristo. Rambouillet Chateau, and the Chateau de Malmaison. All different and very interesting. We all also enjoyed access to the large swimming pool and tennis courts. Thank you Nicolas and Catherine for everything.
This exchange was most successful as we were both experienced with several Homelink exchanges, and, because we had similar attitudes and expectations. We were greeted by our exchange family and embraced by their supportive neighbors. The Remise Family left clear and precise information and were generous in offering suggestions for travel, sightseeing and transportation. They were responsive with communication before and during our exchange. We found the Remise Family to be most welcoming and exceeded our expectations on every level of our exchange.
a paradise near Versailles
We felt very comfortable in your beautiful, lovingly furnished house. A perfect welcome folder contains all the important information. Culture (in and around Paris) , sports (tennis, swimming, cycling) and the peace and quiet made our holiday varied. Many thanks to Nicolas and Catherine.

Wonderful Exchange beside Paris!
We had a wonderful exchange with Nicholas and Catherine in their beautiful and comfortable home. So close to Paris but with a lovely tranquil garden to relax in and access to a pool and tennis courts just a few minutes from their house. They were welcoming, warm and thoughtful hosts and we will always remember our time in their special home:-) Their generosity and kindness was truly touching. Thank you!!
A lovely home near to Versailles
A great home with a lovely garden in a quiet development near to Versailles. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was a joy. Would highly recommend.
Eight of us friends (6 American, 2 Canadian) were happy to stay in the Remise home in Chavenay recently. The house is large and comfortable and accommodated us very well. Additionally, it is a good location for day trips to Paris, Versailles, Giverny, and other nearby attractions. Though our stay was during the French holiday period, we found the local groceries, patisserie, farm store, and restaurants open and welcoming. Our group met when traveling in Tuscany a few years ago, and we will count this stay among several wonderful reunions of friends.

A wonderful, spacious and comfortable home.
A wonderful, spacious and comfortable home. We had a lovely Easter break with children and grandchildren. Weather was kind and we eat outside on several occasions. Paris was easily accessible by train from the local train station. Visits to Versailles also. We had a day at Disney too for Grandchildren and were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. Kind and generous hosts who left the house beautifully decorated for Easter and with many goodies for the children. Thank you Nicholas and Remise.
