  Kathy's and Ahmed's house is gorgeous. We really enjoyed all the house, so bright and cozy, but especially the garden where we had all meals. And, thanks to Malika, what meals!!! Better than any five-star restaurant. Even in a so different country, we felt like at home: with the help of the detailed instructions of Kathy and the friendliness of Malika, we lived like a Moroccan family. Moving around and from/to airport has never been so easy, thanks to Ahmed's help on many different ways. Rabat is a beautiful city, with many modern and ancient spots, but away from the touristic confusion and duplicity. And it is also a good starting point to visit Fez and Meknes, which we did, and Casablanca and Tanger, which, by TGV, we want to do next time, we hope!

  Thank you very much to this exchange of houses. We met wonderful people. Kathy and Ahmed are extremely warm, intelligent, hospitable, curious people. We are very happy that we had the opportunity to meet them in person in Warsaw. Our stay in Rabat is one streak of delights. A beautiful city, extremely clean, safe, tourist friendly, with great roads and beautiful buildings. A great mix of Orient and Europe. We stayed in a beautiful house with Moroccan influences. Separate words of thanks go to Malik, who prepared incredibly tasty meals, cleaned and ironed our things. Lovely girl and very helpful. Rabat is a great place to explore the northern part of Morocco, which was facilitated by the car left at our disposal. We spent one night at Meknes in a Riad in the Medina - an unforgettable experience. We are very impressed with this wonderful country and we want to come back as soon as possible to explore the central and southern part of the country and maybe even settle down permanently when we retire. Who knows. It was a fabulous exchange. We highly recommend it to everyone.

  It was such an amazing holiday. Kathy and Ahmed are lovely people, they made us feel very welcome. Malika, the cook, also made sure this was an unforgettable adventure. My son was very fond of her, and of the dogs, too. We spent hours lying in the garden, visited the sea, the zoo, the beautiful chellah, etc.

  Everything was perfect. Starting with exchanges before travelling by mail and whatsupp, and then the stay itself. Tasty first meal and Moroccan pastry. The house is beautiful, typical construction and patio with nice garden with trees full of pomegranates. Perfect location to visit Casa, El Jadida, Fes et Meknes. Kids loved it! Especially the two dogs ;-) Thank you ! Hope you will come see us again in Provence soon.

• Oasis of Tranquility in Rabat

  Kathy and Ahmed are the ultimate hosts. They truly went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, not only in their home, but also in their neighbourhood, making sure we were familiar with the area before they left. (They also fed us abundantly!) Their house is a quiet oasis after the hustle and bustle of the capital of Rabat. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on, as were their sight seeing suggestions. The gardens surrounding the house offer a quiet place to read, enjoy tea or just unwind. You can pick fresh pomegranate off the trees for a nice treat at any meal. Their housekeeper Malika is a sweet and helpful woman, who can cook traditional meals for you, if you don't want to eat out. If you're thinking about Morocco, I would recommend Kathy and Ahmed as hosts and their home as a great stop in your tour. They also restocked our home with everything we might need, so we didn't have to rush out and get groceries. Thank you so much, for everything Ahmed and Kathy!

  We had a perfect stay in Rabat. Kathy and Ahmed have been lovely hosts. The house and the garden are like an arabic dream. If you really want to see Marocco stay in Rabat. Life is much more "normal" than in other places and people are more relaxed. Rabat is a perfect compromise between Casablanca and Marrakesch. And from Rabat everything is easy to go to. Best Andreas

  Il Marocco è un Paese affascinante e accogliente e Kathy e Ahmed sono stati ospiti meravigliosi. Nella casa di Rabat ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Ci siamo scambiati informazioni, sensazioni, emozioni e quindi ci siamo anche un po' conosciuti. Uno scambio bello davvero.

  This exchange with Ahmed and Cathy has been great. The house is very spacious and bright. They have helped a lot in the exchange because they have left their housekeeper and are very generous. Their house is very well connected with the historical center in it,s a very quiet area and close to a shopping center. I would like to go back to your Home soon.
