The perfect swap
We have had a perfect stay in Jhon and Mary's House. The House is amazing and spotless clean. The location is perfect to explore Galway and the Conemara región. And both John and Mary have been very kind and welcoming. Comunnication has been easy and fluent. Undoubtelly It has been a perfect swap
Lovely stay in a stylish home
We had a great 12 day stay in Moycullen which was a village with a pretty good range of shops. The house was very comfortable and stylish with comfortable beds and efficient bathrooms. We enjoyed being in the middle of lovely countryside with a horse and donkey in the nearby field and cows also a field away. We enjoyed also the countryside walks, trips into Galway and the wonderful Kylemore Abbey. Many thanks Mary & Johnny.
We had a great experience and holiday in Mary's hous. Everything was perfect: the house, the countryside, the silence, the region and the people always kind and smiling. We met Mary and Johnny, who are fantastic and we hope we will meet again
Fantastic break in a really beautiful house
Luis, Noa and I had a fantastic break at Mary and Johnny's home in Moycullen. Their architect-designed house is incredible and far beyond our expectations! The floor to ceiling windows provide lots of natural light and views of their beautiful garden and the surrounding countryside from every room. Mary and Johnny are very friendly and gave us lots of great tips for things to do during our stay. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Clifden via Roundstone and Ballyconeely, cycling in sunshine on Inishmore and boat tour past the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. The house is very well equipped and furnished to such a high standard that we felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The location is also great, in a quiet countryside setting, near all the attractions of Connemara and yet only a 20 minute drive to Galway city and the lovely promenade in Salthill. There was lots of food for us in the house on arrival and Mary's sister even dropped us in homemade scones during our stay. Thank you Mary and Johnny for a great experience!
We had a wonderful holiday
Our visit to Mary & Johnny’s beautiful home was more than we could have expected. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and ‘on holiday’. The house has everything you could need and is set in a beautiful area with a selection of country walks and interesting drives. It is close to the most beautiful scenery in the West of Ireland and Moycullen has several good eateries. A short drive to the lovely vibrant city of Galway. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
A lovely home in a beautiful area
It was an absolute pleasure to spend time in Mary and Johnny’s beautiful, spacious and comfortable home. It has everything you could wish for and more and is a great base from which to explore the beautiful Lough Corrib and the breathtaking scenery of Connemara. When not relaxing on the lovely patio we paddle boarded on Lough Corrib, swam on some wonderful sandy beaches, visited the spectacular Brigit’s garden, strolled along the promenade in Salthill, walked around the Kylemore Abbey Estate, with its amazing walled garden....and much, much more. Thank you Mary and Johnny for your hospitality and for giving us the opportunity to experience again this gorgeous part of our country.
Wonderfull Home on the gateway to Connemara
We had a memorable exchange in Mary and Johnnys beautiful home, its location is ideal to explore Galway and beautiful Connemara. This region has so many historic sites and fantastic scenary one is spoiled for choice. We took in visits to castles and museums, horse riding, swimming, Arts week, Horse racing, Commemara tour and wind farm visit and we were blown away with the fantastic selection of Restaurants and Cafes throughout the region. Ideal base for touring the West.
Thank you Mary for your hospitable welcome and for all the food you left us. We had a very enjoyable few days reacquainting ourselves with the beauties of Connemara, Galway and Mayo and it was great to come back every evening to the comfort and brightness of your lovely home.

We stay two weeks in yours nice and comfortable house and we feel like at home, sourronded by green camps and beautiful nature. Galway and Connemara are very near and they are very nice places to visit. Thanks Mary and Jhonny!
Our first exchange
We were lucky to be welcomed by Mary herself and put right at ease. We had coffee and scones and discussed where to visit. There was plenty of food and fruit to keep us going and the house was spotless. There was a feeling of openness, honesty and respect. We felt very comfortable, at home and very welcome. Can't wait for our next exchange.
